Through the collaborative efforts of the Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services and the Bureau of Educator Certification, the Florida Department of Education proudly announces the availability of a new online professional development program.
Professional Development Alternatives for Exceptional Student Educators (PDA-ESE) utilizes online training modules and local facilitators to provide instruction in the seven major ESE competency areas that were established in July 2002.
Appropriate for professionals working in general or special education, the PDA-ESE program is designed with the busy educator in mind. The modules combine quality online instruction for self-paced study with local support, ongoing communication, and classroom-related assessment tasks to ensure successful mastery of the competencies.
